Weather
Yes — we zip rain, snow, or shine. We typically do NOT cancel due to rain or snow. Mountain weather is volatile, however, and we may temporarily suspend a tour with little notice due to lightning, thunder, high winds, or at our discretion.
If we are forced to cancel or delay your tour by more than 30 minutes, you may reschedule or receive a gift card for a future visit. Please provide us with the best mobile number or email to reach you on the day of your tour so we can communicate quickly if conditions change.
Bring rain gear if rain is forecasted. We have a limited supply of rain jackets available on-site on a first-come, first-served basis. After Labor Day, bring gloves and a hat or cap that can be worn comfortably under a helmet. The Alpine Marketplace on-site has provisions if you’ve left something at home.
👔
What to Wear
Closed-toe shoes are required for all Alpine Adventures activities. We recommend hiking or walking shoes. Sandals, flip flops, and open-toe shoes are not permitted.
For ziplining and challenge course activities, longer shorts or pants are preferred for comfort in the harness. No skirts or belly shirts allowed. Dress for the weather — layers are always a good idea in the White Mountains.
Long hair must be tied back
No dangling earrings, chest rings, or belly button rings
Caps may be worn under the helmet if they fit comfortably
Sunglasses are fine if secure enough to not fall off
Bug repellent and/or sunscreen as appropriate for the season
Gloves after Labor Day
A hat or cap for colder weather (must fit under a helmet)
Rain gear if rain is in the forecast
Water and a snack — tours can run up to 3 hours
Note: We are in the forest, hundreds of feet above the ground — we don’t have lost and found, we only have lost. Leave valuables secured in your car.
