We maintain a trail network located on our 300 private acres, just minutes south of Lincoln NH, on 1700′ Barron Mountain. This tour also features a ride in our 6-wheel Austrian troop transport vehicle – the Pinzgauer. This tour will be custom-tailored to your group’s needs, our guides will call you at least one day before the tour to collect information on your specific group (Age, ability level, expectations, etc). We will also brief you on weather possibilities and some items you may want to bring.

Groups larger than 8 may be accommodated. Longer tours are also available upon request. Modifications outside of standard offerings are subject to additional cost.
This tour requires participants to be in relatively good physical condition. Hiking uphill and downhill is involved throughout the tour.
Our Guided Back-Country Tours are a quintessential, New Hampshire winter adventure. The entire family will love this trip as it offers something for everyone. The kids and kids at heart will love the exhilarating ride to our trailhead in one of our 6-wheel Pinzgauers. The outdoor enthusiast will enjoy the White Mountain National Forest from a unique and up-close perspective. The romantic adventurer will absorb the scenic vistas and the quiet solitude of the snow-covered forest. This adventure is good for the heart, body, and spirit. These trips start at our Base Camp on Main Street in Lincoln, where you travel to our 300 private acres on Barron Mountain. Excursions last approximately 90 minutes. Participants should dress in layers, expecting to remove layers as you go. A small pack is helpful to carry layers as needed. Dress warm but not too warm, dress as if you’re going to go for a winter run, winter trekking is a great way to work up a sweat!
Group Tours Include a brief off-road tour, a guided back-country trek using trekking poles, snowshoes, or micro-spikes (weather dependent), as well as transportation to and from Barron Mountain. Boots and warm clothing are not included.
